About

Hello, I'm Angélique.

Mother of our son Inoa, 7 years old, and daughter Norea, 5 years old.

What I love? The laughter of my children. Making music. Walking barefoot through the grass. To wake up and hear the birds singing. To sit by a fire. Silence. Nature.

My educational background is in Cultural Anthropology and Public Administration. I completed a master's degree for both studies. I graduated in anthropology in the field of poverty and social exclusion and in Peru I conducted research into the survival strategies of the native population who migrated to the city. I graduated in public administration with a specialization in Government Ethics. After starting my early career at the United Nations in Rome, I worked within international development aid for over 15 years. I have worked for & with social organizations in the Netherlands, and also in Ghana, Kenya, Israel, the Palestinian Territories, South Africa, India & Nepal.

After years in the academic world, the spiritual path made me come home in myself. Plant medicine has opened this path for me. I also learned a lot through meditation, yoga and training in breathwork, bodywork & shin do. In recent years I assist people on the last part of their life path as an end-of-life doula.

Making music makes me happy. I like to sing a lot, play guitar, djembe & Ngoni and like to invite you to join me in making music at our retreats!

Hi, I'm Prem.

The common thread in my life is about meaning and spirituality. At an early age I started searching for a deeper meaning in life, one that goes beyond the material. My father and sister provided examples for me. For example, as a teenager my father gave me a cassette tape with meditations on it and I listened to them before going to sleep. Soon I was spending many hours in the library reading books on spirituality.

I worked in the hospital as a Vascular Diagnostic Laboratory Technician for 12 years. I examined the blood vessels of patients, reported my findings to the doctors and supported the operating team in carotid and open heart surgery. The contact I had with the patients in the hospital gave me great satisfaction.

I spent many winters in an ashram in Rishikesh, a city at the foot of the Himalayas in northern India. Here I practiced yoga, meditation and Qigong every day. These exercises brought me calm and clarity in my mind. I felt better about myself and daily yoga made my body more flexible and stronger.

I completed a year's training in breathwork. I supervise breathing sessions for both groups and 1-on-1. A great passion of mine is nature awareness. Becoming aware of the environment around us and taking care of nature.

The greatest spiritual transformation for me is fatherhood. The unconditional love I feel for my two children is the greatest gift ever. They give meaning to my life and train me in qualities such as unconditional love and patience.
